Yo!! INTERIOR GAINES!! You are soooooooo right. Planning ALL aspects of your updates/changes to your house FIRST, before, starting the project is a definite MUST. My husband and I decided we needed new exterior doors on our house. (We took about thirty years to decide this!) After much ‘todo’ with the door company, (receiving the wrong finish, etc), our doors were put in. Even picking a new doorbell took time and there were many styles from which to choose. Unfortunately, we didn’t contact Interior Gaines before we started this part of the project!

What we DIDN’T figure, was there was an immediate need to paint the shutters on the house (Yipes! What color?), get some outside porch lights (Yuck! There were so many to look at), to compliment our beautiful doors, and last, but not least, we desperately needed a new mail box (ours was definitely too small and very ugly!).

Well….’.Interior Gaines’ to the rescue by recommending three different colors of weather worthy, exterior paint for us to try. We found our color, easily, by painting big swatches of all three paints on different shutters; standing back and looking at our house from different angles. It was definitely an easy pick with Janene’s advice. We weren’t sure, (with so many porch lights available), exactly what we should purchase to match our doors, or for that matter, exactly what type of mailbox to get. We showed our preferences to Janene and she helped us by pointing out the qualities of the items which would enhance the appearance of our new doors as well as give us the long range service we were looking for.

I just wanted to take the time to say that I have been working with Interior Gaines since 2003 and have been extremely pleased with the services. During my initial business dealings with the company, I lived in Northeastern Ohio and wanted assistance putting together my office. Due to the distance, I initially took photos and sent them to Interior Gaines for ideas and feedback. I later had an in person consultation with Janene Gaines, which was extremely beneficial, especially when dealing with faux painting selections. After meeting Janene and showing her around my home, I felt she had a good understanding of who I was and what I was trying to accomplish. Two years and three rooms later, I had a freshly inspired faux finished powder room, luxury library and a shabby chic office to brag about.

I have since relocated to Florida and have started the redecorating process all over. Because of the rapport I have with Interior Gaines, we have been able to do paint selections for my living room, dining room, and kitchen all over the phone and via the internet. You have to love modern technology and the flexibility of this organization! I can now say that my paint selections reflect who I am and have made my downstairs living space a place where I Iove to entertain and relax with friends and family. I owe that sense of confidence and pride to Interior Gaines. Without their assistance, my home would not be the warm and inviting place it is today.
